“A vibrant and

sense

of mischief”.

- The Times

“Hugely inventive... ridiculous amounts of fun”!
— The Scotsman

Paul is a comedy writer, performer and game designer with over twenty years of experience in live comedy, improvisation, television production and game development based in London and Manchester.

During lockdown, Paul hosted a series of weekly Questing Time shows, where comedians play actual games of Dungeons & Dragons, he wrote and hosted a series of Holiday Specials for D&D themselves and doing the same for Comic Relief - raising over £50,000 for the charity alongside Sue Perkins, Nish Kumar, James Acaster and Ed Gamble.

He has appeared alongside Jason Sudeikis in Apple TV’s Ted Lasso, as well as turning up in episodes of Brassic (Sky), Drifters (E4), Michael McIntyre’s Big Show (BBC) and many others.

He has also worked as a creative consultant; creating games, events, activations and experiences for companies like Wizards of the Coast, D&D in a Castle and Champion’s Grove. He has also several years working as a Comedy and Dialogue Consultant for Playground Games and as a Game Designer for MCDM and Wizards of the Coast.

The slickest in the business.
— Chortle

With over fourteen years experience in the teaching of improvisation for performers and the corporate sector, Paul has turned his comic-sensibilities towards script editing and comedy development with a list of projects hidden behind non-disclosure agreements for companies like the BBC, Sony Entertainment, Tiger Aspect and Amazon.

When on stage, Paul performs stand-up comedy as well as improvising alongside an array of talented peers - in shows like Paul Foxcroft & Friends (& One Other Guy), Scenes From A Longer Show and There Will Be Cake with Marcus Brigstocke, Rachel Parris and Pippa Evans.

F*cking Funny.
— Jason Sudeikis

Most recently, Paul has developed and written interactive story based launch events for the gaming sector, put in some hours as a studio manager and worked as the event host and Creative Consultant for D&D in a Castle - an immersive role-playing experience where guests enjoy a vacation full of games, interactive experiences and comedy. He continues in that Creative Consultant role for Champion’s Grove, Travis' McElroy’s immersive gaming retreat in Ohio, as well as hopping into The Adventure Zone as additional voice talent.

Paul has spent the past few years writing for games publishers, script consulting for TV and videogames, developing his own Kickstarter project and launching more comedy live-streams on YouTube and Twitch…

…and you can hire him. Like, today!

Foxcroft has all the confidence you would expect from a man who has improvised with the best for most of his career. But this is tightly scripted stuff…
